Our Story
Once upon a workday in 2018, we were just two colleagues exchanging shy smiles in the hallway and the occasional laugh. Little did we know, our story would soon take an unexpected twist… over brunch. That simple brunch turned into something magical—friendship, sparks, and an unspoken promise over way too many carb-filled pasta dates.
When work called Vina to Germany, Jorick found himself at a crossroads. Stay behind, or follow his heart? With unwavering love (and a taste for adventure), he packed his bags and flew across borders, proving that some stories are worth chasing.
Just as we were finding our footing as a new couple, the world locked down. What could have been a challenge became a blessing—days filled with quiet moments, laughter, and learning to dance through life together.
We’ve built a life on shared playlists, spontaneous adventures, and indulging in endless pasta and pastries (because carbs are love). From exploring new places to soaking in our favorite beachy sunsets, every moment brought us closer.
Fast forward to 2023, and we swapped Germany’s chilly winters for Malaysia’s sunshine. Then came March 1st, 2024—on a stunning beach in Krabi, the island where our adventure began, Jorick dropped to one knee and made a promise to Vina that started with “forever.”
And now, here we are—March 1st, 2025, just around the corner, ready to write the next chapter of our story.
Six years of laughter, endless beaches, and shared dreams have led us here.
